The Converge Experience
Here at Converge, we strive to provide a holistic, integrated learning experience that goes beyond just teaching dance, but teaching through dance. This is achieved through 4 distinct domains in our pedagogy:
Interest
Building awareness and appreciation for dance, adopting engaging and age-appropriate teaching methods and techniques
Instruct
Clear, objective-driven lessons with effective delivery of content, instruction of dance techniques, empowering students with skills required to fulfil programme objectives
Inculcate
Providing students opportunities to exercise critical thinking, allowing students the chance to exhibit and practice key values and social skills, to teach through dance
Inspire
Generating ownership and responsibility for their own learning, celebrating triumphs regardless of magnitude, equipping students with ability to further grow in dance

NAC-AEP Directory
Below programmes are offered by Converge Studios and are accepted under the National Arts Council – Arts Education Programme (“NAC-AEP”) 2019 – 2022.

MOE Primary and Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges, Centralized Institute & ITE Regional Campuses may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidize up to 50% of the programme cost under the NAC-AEP.

Special Education (SPED) Schools may use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidize up to 70% of the programme cost under the NAC-AEP.
