Converge Studios’ first ever student recital, Convergence, debuted in January 2018, bringing music and dance together to reimagine and rethink our everyday mundane tasks, situations and experiences. From the everyday, localized kopitiam to a westernized dessert shop, from a classroom to a toilet, we look deeper into social issues such as the bystander effect and income disparity, while livening up a taichi workout and studying our smartphone reliance. Expect to see relatable, familiar experiences, with a brand new Converge perspective.
