@yiwenyong At 17, dance entered and enriched Yiwen’s life physically, emotionally and mentally. Prior to Converge Studios, Yiwen taught extensively with Studio Wu for close to a decade, all while choreographing for, training under and performing with the Elite Performing Team for various events. Aside from teaching, Yiwen is an experienced performer and choreographer. She has performed and/or choreographed for various events, including Mediacorp Star Search 2010, True Hearts, THK Charity, Vivocity Countdown, Jay Park Fan-Meet, and numerous flashmobs. Versatility is Yiwen’s greatest trait, and she appreciates the freedom to explore different dance genres while experiencing the joys of each. She believes that having an open mind is essential, both in dance and life.
