OPEN CLASS LEVEL DESCRIPTION

BASICS

Technique drills and exercises will be covered, with repetition and variation to help solidify foundation. Different techniques, or variation of techniques, will be covered each week. These will be put into a combination at the end of class to allow applied learning, and to challenge weight transfer and basic musicality. No dance routine / choreography covered.

LEVEL 1

Small amount of time will be reserved for basic technique training, conditioning or drills. Remainder of class will be used for learning a choreographed dance routine, taught at a comfortable pace.

LEVEL 2

Class will be taught at a slightly more challenging pace, with the assumption that students are equipped with prior dance training and background. Instructors may still dedicate some time to higher level techniques or moves utilized in the choreographed routine.


 

LEVEL 3

Class will be taught at a semi-professional pace, and will feature dance choreographies with more challenging moves, techniques, musicality and rhythm. Class is catered to dancers with prior dance background, and looking for a push in their dance training and regimen.
